The T'boli oval hardcase purse is made of a special fabric handwoven by tribeswomen from the Southern part of the Philippines. The making of the material is similar in process to the traditional ikats of Southeast Asia, except that in this case, the raw material used is abaca, which is a sustainable fiber. Wood button accents on the top of the bag are wrapped in hand-tooled brass by our artisans. A drop-in brass chain allows you to carry this beauty as a clutch or as a shoulder bag.
In the case of our handwoven patterned fabrics, no two bags are ever exactly alike. They will all be similar to the product picture, but with slight variations, precisely because they are handmade. Each bag is unique and we hope you agree that's what makes it special.
